On May 1st 2025, local elections will be happening in various places throughout England. Regional mayors, unitary councils and county councils will all be up for grabs, and following the Labour government harsh policy lines (such as cuts to welfare and disability benefits), we are advocating for a progressive coalition of councillors to get elected, and stand up for local issues and left leaning policies.

Much like Stop The Tories last year, but without the hidden interests and shady financial backing, the plan is to pinpoint wards where a progressive candidate that adheres to values of social justice, community support, environmental issues and anti-austerity policies can be voted in as an alternative to the current “three Tory parties” (Labour, Conservative and Reform) of the UK.

The website will include updates and directions to vote in your council area. No Labour councillors will be promoted. Only Greens, Liberal Democrats, and progressive independent, regional and localist parties with the aforementioned values will be included.
